Review Round QR Code Proofs Before Ordering Counter Signs

Judge the printed sign, not the design file

A round QR code design can look appealing on a monitor and still be awkward to use on a counter. Treat the final printed proof as the approval copy. The paper, finish, surrounding artwork, and placement all belong in that review.

Keep the instruction outside the busy artwork

Write a short label describing the destination, such as View the menu or Open our contact page. Place it where a customer can read it before lifting a phone. A decorative shape should not force someone to guess whether the code opens a review page, offer, or ordering screen.

Try the proof where it will actually stand

Set the sample at the intended counter position. Test from the customer side with more than one phone, including under the lighting used during normal service. Check whether reflections, nearby displays, or the stand angle make the code difficult to capture. Revise the design when results are inconsistent.

Compare the design with a simpler version

If the shaped proof is unreliable, compare it with a simpler code using the same destination. Keep ample clear space around the code and avoid crowding it with labels or borders. Ask the designer to preserve the readable code structure while adjusting the decorative treatment.

Finish the test after the scan

Opening a link is only the first check. Confirm the correct location name and complete the intended action. Save the approved proof and destination together so a later reprint does not accidentally restore an outdated version. Bizinga can help connect the sign to an appropriate editable destination.
